Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Strelok collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Strelok apps for iOS, Android and desktop, the Strelok Cloud sync service, the website, and the developer API.

We designed Strelok to work offline first. The core ballistic solver, catalogs and your rifle profiles live on your device — you can use the calculator without an account and without sending anything to us.

Account information: if you create an account for cloud sync, we store your email address and an authentication identifier so you can sign in across devices.

Your ballistic data: rifles, loads, zeros, profiles and DOPE you choose to sync are stored so they are available on every device on your account. This data is yours.

Range AI requests: when you use Range AI, the text you enter is sent to our processing provider to generate a solution. We do not use your prompts to train models.

Diagnostics: aggregate, non-identifying crash and performance data to help us fix bugs and improve reliability.

To provide the service — syncing your data, authenticating you, and returning ballistic solutions and Range AI answers.

To maintain and improve reliability, security and performance.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising in the apps.

We share data only with the infrastructure and processing providers required to run the service (for example, cloud hosting and the Range AI model provider), and only to the extent needed to deliver the feature you requested.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the service.

Synced data is retained while your account is active. You can delete individual items in the app, or request deletion of your entire account and its associated data at any time.

Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Access to stored data is restricted to the systems and personnel required to operate the service.

Strelok is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date below and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice.
